Chewing motions can help in reducing snoring severity or better, it can totally eliminate snoring problems. Chewing motion exercise is very easy to perform anywhere and anytime. When convenient, you can pretend as if you are chewing gum and that’s it. Pretend that you are chewing gum and you are already doing the chewing motion exercise. Perform the chewing motion exercise several times per day.
Snoring Exercises: Mandibular Exercises
The mandibles or the jaw can be one of the contributive factors of snoring. Exercising your mandibles or jaw by sticking it out several times per day (at least 10 times per day) can help in opening up the back portion of your throat, the specific area where snoring takes place. When talking about sticking the jaw out, it means that you are going to stick out your lower jaw until the lower set of teeth are exposed and are protruded more than the upper teeth. Hold the sticking out of the lower jaw position for at least 10 seconds to 15 seconds.
Snoring Exercises: Speaking Exercises
This is one of the simplest exercises that can be done to help reduce or even prevent snoring problems. Speaking exercises before going to bed can help in reducing snoring problems. You will just have to repeat and speak a specific phrase at least 10 times to 20 times before going to bed. The phrase that you will need to speak and repeat 10x to 20x before going to bed is “The lips, the teeth, the tip of the tongue.”
